I love the Lord Jesus Christ and serve Him through our local church. We have a ministry called Josiah’s Blessings, which is an outreach to help support couples going through a difficult pregnancy or early infant death. Other things I love are reading my KJV Bible, fellowshipping with fellow believers, chocolate, camping with my family, Moose, scrapbooking, homeschooling, coupons-freebies-sales and chocolate!
I am the blessed helpmeet to the love of my life, Frank. I met him when I was 15 years old and our life together has been better than any storybook tale and we are still “happily ever aftering”. We have been married for over 20 years and he still makes my heart skip a beat when he walks into a room. Some of the things I attribute our fabulous marriage to are
- God’s grace – we put Him first in all we do
- We try to live by Ephesians 4:26 – never go to bed angry
- We strive to have a “date night” as often as possible, but at least once a week
I am the joyful Mama to five blessings DS 15, DS 11, Josiah (in Heaven 3/8/00), DD 8, and DS 5. We have been homeschooling for over a decade and have another decade to go with God’s Grace.
My purpose for this website is to share happenings on our farm, (The Joy Corner Farm begun Spring 2009 with 17 Red Star Chickens, 3 indoor rabbits, and one Rhodesian Ridgeback), share frugal finds, share homeschooling info and resources, and share what the Lord is teaching me through Joyful devotions.
